GOLD, RARE EARTH ELEMENTS, GALLIUM
Gold Canyon's 100% controlled Springpole Gold Project is located in the Red Lake Mining District of Ontario, approximately 70 miles (115 km) east-north-east of the town of Red Lake and of approximately 20,000 acres.
Horseshoe Island Project
The Company has an option to acquire 100% of the Horseshoe Island Project covering 3,160 acres, located 5 miles (8 kms) west of the Springpole Core Area. Additional staking linked the Horseshoe Island and Springpole properties, creating a total site area of 28,935 acres.
Favourable Lake Project
The Company acquired 100% interest in the Favourable Lake; silver-gold-base metal property in August 2005. The property is approximately 120 miles (200 km) north of Red Lake, Ontario and consists of 428 individual claim units covering roughly 17,120 acres in the highly mineralized Favourable Lake Greenstone Belt.
Cordero Gallium Project
Gold Canyon's 100% controlled Cordero Gallium project covers over 3,800 acres, and is situated approximately 7 miles (15 km) southwest of the town of McDermitt, in Humboldt County, Nevada.
Kratz Spring REE Project
Kratz Spring is an identified Iron Oxide Copper Gold +/- REE (IOCG) deposit located in the St. Francois Mountains of southeastern Missouri. This region hosts several iron-oxide +/- apatite +/- Cu-Au-REE deposits. The GCU / JOGMEC joint exploration agreement is directed towards identification of Rare Earth Element (REE) resources.
